The Bourne Saga

Its been a while since I Blogged.........well what can I say about that ........been very busy off late( doing nothing) ..........Anyone reading this post and who knows me would definitely laugh out loud, because I'm sure they wouldn't believe that.

Anyways, let me tell you folks abt the latest movie that I watched. What can I say about this movie man........ITS JUST TOO GOOD......The movie that I'm talking about is The Bourne Ultimatum........This movie is simply the best one released as far as action flicks are concerned this summer( as per US weather).
I have been a gr8 fan of the Bourne series of movies right from day one, i.e since The Bourne Identity day's.......and my liking for these movies is simply exceeded my imagination......I must have seen the first two parts at least about 27 times each and have already seen the 3rd part 8 times, with 3 times in a row. Well the movies are simply awesome.

The third and so called final edition of the Bourne Series is a mixture of the best screenplay, with a perfect story, and the best actors and actresses, and and amazing direction, with the stand out performance by none other than Matt Damon. Right from the day Damon has been associated with the Bourne series, he has proved that he is the most sought after actors when it comes to action movies, and there is no doubt that he has really outperformed others with his acting in the the last sequel.

Now let me tell u folks about the story. Continuing from the earlier two sequels, Jason Bourne - the CIA assassin, who is now a $30 million dollar malfunctioning product, tries to bring back his lost memory. The movie starts from the previous sequel, where bourne is in Moscow and from there Jason gets further pictures of his past. A security correspondent called Simon Ross, played by Paddy Considine from The Tribune paper, publishes an article about Jason Bourne and his journey in and out of CIA. Bourne after contacting Simon Ross gets another clue in finding his true identity, and this time it is another Black Ops program by CIA that was started from Bourne.

In search of his actual identity, Bourne travels from London to Madrid, then to Tangier and finally ends his journey in New York. Nicky Parsons played by Julia Stiles plays a supporting role in the movie, but this time she is on Bourne's side unlike in the other sequels where she was with CIA. Pamela Landy played by Joan Allen this time figures that the CIA was not doing what it was supposed to be doing and realises that Bourne is innocent and is being made a scapegoat in order to cover the traces of the CIA top officials. She supports Bourne this time and works together with him to track down the actual culprits who are responsible for the state that Bourne is in right now.

The director of the movie, Paul Greengrass, who is today a very sought after director in Hollywood, has also been nominated for the Oscars for his earlier sequel in the Bourne Series, The Bourne Supremacy, and has also won 29 awards and 20 nominations for his other ventures.

Paul Greengrass has simply created a masterpiece in the last sequel, with an amazing series of action cuts, in different parts of the world.

A constant action sequence in all the Bourne movies are the car chases. With this movie again, Bourne outsmarts and outmanoeuvres, his opponents with all the training given to him by the agency and proves why he is the best that the agency had.

The movie has been made on a budget of about $110 million and has already grossed about $315million worldwide, with about $65 million coming from the first weekend of release, the release happend on the 3rd of August 07.

The AJ's movie meter gives it a 9/10.

As a whole its a perfectly crafted triology. A must for anybody and everybody.......go and watch at the nearest theater to you, today!!!!!!!!!

Chow!!!
